Version 1.7.7 of Mandos is released. It is a bug fix release, fixing
the Plymouth password prompting plugin, broken since 1.7.2.

The Plymouth plugin has had a bug ever since the plugin's inclusion in
version 1.2, but the bug was recently exposed in version 1.7.2 due to
its usage of the -fsanitize=address flag to the C compiler, which caused
the bug to abort the Plymouth plugin. This release fixes the bug.

This release also changes some permissions on some directories to what
they were originally supposed to be, but none of these changes have any
security implications or affects any user-visible behavior.

Version 1.7.7 (2016-03-19)
* Client
** Fix bug in Plymouth client, broken since 1.7.2

Debian package changes:

* debian/mandos-client.postinst (configure): If older version, fix
  permissions on plugin helper directory. Also fix permissions on
  plugin helper local override directory (/etc/mandos/plugin-helpers),
  but only if not listed by "dpkg-statoverride".
* debian/rules (override_dh_fixperms-arch): Exclude plugin helper
  directory from dh_fixperms.
* debian/mandos.postinst (configure): Fix state directory permissions,
  but only if not listed by "dpkg-statoverride".
* debian/mandos-client.lintian-overrides: Do not warn about permissions
  on plugin helper directory.
* debian/mandos.dirs (usr/lib/tmpfiles.d): Added.
